Finishing and inspection
When the weavers' work is done, the wash removes foreign particles, leaving the rug with a soft lustre and long-lasting durability. The delicate final step involves twining to keep the warp and weft secure, and tying off to prepare for tension release. The rug is thoroughly inspected, and the moment of truth arrives as the designer approves the final product. A masterpiece is fully formed, soon to arrive to transform your space.
